  • The foam used is CMHR35 and 50 kilo foam (most other mattress use 25 kilo foam). We know of no other foam mattress in production in the UK that offers the support, durability and beathability of the Surestart. The Surestart mattress will out perform basic metal sprung mattresses made from standard 25kilo foam.
  • Special construction of the foam core Unique Posture Foam Sprung and specially designed to for extra support and increased airflow.
  • Air holes in the top and bottom foam layer coincide with the Foam Centre to give a through put of air from top to bottom through the cover.
  • Fitted with a NON-PVC waterfroof slider to give extra protection to the foam core
  • The SureStart Cot Mattress is 10cm deep
  • The mattress cover is Safetex Plus - Safetex Plus is a highly water resistant breathable fabric
  • The special highly breathable foam core is wrapped in a stockinette that not only adds to the luxury of the mattress but also makes it so much easier to remove the cover as it eliminates any "foam grip"
  • We have also extended the zip on the cover so it goes around two corners and the long side - making it easy to remove
  • The Safetex cover can be machine washed at 60°c (the temperature need to kill dust mites ) thus making the mattress truly ant-allergenic
